How to buy correct motorcycle tire

This is the first part of a 3 part series where I show you how to purchase the correct tire for your motorcycle, and I talk about dimensions and speedrating for tires, how to take the front wheel off, remove the old tire, and also how to mount the new tire and balance the wheel.

I decided to split this into 3 different parts so it wouldn’t be one, long video.

The second part of the series, will be published tomorrow. In part 2 I show you how to take the front wheel off the bike, and also how to take the old tire off the rim.

The third and final part of the series, which will be published the following day, I will show you how I use zip-ties and dishwasher soap to mount the new tire on the rim. I also show you how I balance the tire with a little rig I made myself. After the tire is mounted, balanced and put back on the bike, I take the bike out for a quick ride to test the new tire, and see how the bike handles compared to the old tire.
